At The Locplace, we offer one to one services. We ask that you arrive unaccompanied. Our services are by appointment only. Payment is made on reservation.

We offer Sisterlocks(TM), Microlocs and Dreadlocks services.

During the appointment we answer your questions to help you stay informed on how to maintain your locs.

Here’s everything you need to know before your hair appointment at The Locplace.

Will my hairstylist wear protective gear?

Yes. We will wear masks for every appointment.

Will I also be wearing a mask during my appointment?

We ask that you arrive with your own mask. We will require that you wear a mask throughout the appointment. We require that you wash your hands upon arrival. Hand sanitiser is available to use. We will also use disposable capes for your appointment.

How long will my appointment be?

Consultation appointments take 1 hour.

Dreadlocks appointments take 2 to 3 hours.

Sisterlocks and Microlocs appointment take 3-4hours or more depending on the rate of growth in between appointments.

How do I book an appointment?

Please book your appointment on our bookings page as soon as you can to get a suitable slot.

As we do not wash hair, we recommend that you wash your hair within 24 hours before your appointment.

We do not have a waiting area. We ask that you do not arrive early for your appointment. Arrive on time and not late.

We offer bottled water, free Wi-Fi and safe parking.
